Job Descriptions:

An exciting opportunity awaits a dedicated and proficient English language educator. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality English instruction at B2 and C1 levels, adhering to the CEFR guidelines. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for teaching and a commitment to ongoing improvement.

The English Language Instructor will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Lesson Planning: Develop and deliver interactive, student-centered lesson plans that align with the CEFR B2 and C1 level objectives. Incorporate a variety of teaching strategies to cater to different learning styles.
  • Teaching: Conduct engaging English language classes, focusing on all four skills: reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Utilize multimedia resources and real-world materials to enhance instruction.
  • Assessment: Regularly assess student progress through formative and summative assessments. Provide constructive feedback and adjust teaching methods to suit individual student needs. Track and report student progress to relevant stakeholders.
  • Classroom Management: Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports all students’ learning. Implement strategies to manage classroom behavior and create a safe, respectful learning environment.
  • Professional Development: Stay updated with the latest teaching methodologies and participate in professional development activities. Share knowledge and best practices with colleagues to contribute to the professional learning community.
  • Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development and improvement of the English curriculum, ensuring it meets the needs of students and aligns with CEFR B2 and C1 level objectives.
  • Student Support: Provide additional support to students as needed, including tutoring outside of class hours and guidance for self-study strategies.
  • Community Engagement: Participate in community events and promote the importance of English language learning within the community. 
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other instructors and staff to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive learning experience for students.
  • Cultural Sensitivity: Respect and accommodate cultural differences in teaching practices and classroom interactions.
Job Requirements:

The ideal candidate for the Female English Language Instructor position should possess the following qualifications: 
 

  • Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field. A Master’s degree or additional qualifications in English language teaching would be an added advantage.
  • Certification: TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certification or equivalent is required. Additional certifications in teaching methodologies or curriculum development would be beneficial. 
  • Experience: Proven experience teaching English at B2 and C1 levels, as per the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Experience in a multicultural or multilingual setting would be a plus.
  • Language Proficiency: Excellent command of English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of local languages would be an advantage.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex language concepts to students.
  • Lesson Planning: Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver interactive, student-centered lesson plans that align with the CEFR B2 and C1 level objectives.
  • Assessment Skills: Experience in assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and adjusting teaching methods to suit individual student needs. 
  • Classroom Management: Proven ability to maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports all students’ learning.
  • Professional Development: Commitment to staying updated with the latest teaching methodologies and willingness to participate in professional development activities.
  • Cultural Sensitivity: Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and demonstrate respect for cultural diversity.
