Job Descriptions:

 

  1. Be able to do Installation of Operating System Windows and Microsoft Office.
  2. Periodically report to line manager
  3. Be able to identify and fix network, camera and sound system connector related issues.
  4. Check, Analyze, Troubleshoot and resolve common and major technical issues of below related IT equipment:
    • Computer CPU
    • Monitors
    • Keyboard and Mouse
    • UPS
    • Printer (Dot Matrix, LaserJet, Ink-Jet, Card Printer)
    • Copier Machines
    • Money Counter Machines
    • Scanners
    • Paper Shredder
    • Security Camera
    • Microphones and Head Phones
    • Power Adapters
    • And any other IT electronic devices.
  5. Service and Cleaning of above-mentioned devices when and as needed to mitigate possible damages.
  6. Service Printers and Copier Machines at least once in 6 Months
  7. Cooperate and work with Network and CCTV team with Network and CCTV Cabling.
  8. Visit Branches for technical support any time needed based on advice of line manager.
  9. Record and Register of IT equipment received from Departments and Branches with them receive date, issues and locations.
  10. Record list of repaired devices with full details.
  11. Provide repaired devices to System Section for testing and ensure smooth operation.
  12. Perform repair of IT equipment which are not in functional condition in IT Stock.
  13. Maintain Stock Registry of frequently needed parts of equipment and recommend updates.
  14. Support Head Office and Branch IT Officers with Hardware’s related issues.
  15. Provide Training to IT Staff with Basic Technical Troubleshooting and Technical Knowledge.
  16. Weekly and Monthly report of IT Technician performance covering (items received, items repaired, items serviced or identified unrepairable.

Job Requirements:

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), or equivalent are preferred.

Experience Required

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or as an IT technician, with hands-on experience in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining computer hardware, software, and network systems.
  • Familiarity with network administration, server maintenance, and technical support in a corporate environment.

Competencies Required

  • Proficient in installing, configuring, and maintaining computer systems, network equipment, and peripheral devices (printers, scanners, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and productivity software (Microsoft Office Suite, etc.).
  • Experience with network troubleshooting, including understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and firewall configurations.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues quickly and effectively.
  • Strong understanding of data backup, recovery systems, and IT security practices.
  • Ability to support both in-person and remote IT issues, including providing technical support to end-users.
  • Good communication skills to provide clear instructions and support to non-technical staff.
  • Experience with network cabling and managing IT hardware inventory.
