The FHH project manager, under the direct supervision of the Project Manager in Kabul, holds the overall responsibility for managing and monitoring the Family Health House (FHH) project in Ghor province. This includes ensuring that the project aligns with the agreed objectives and stays within the allocated budgets.
Implementation of the project activities in collaboration with the UNFPA Regional Office and Coordination of FHH-related activities at the provincial level through the Provincial Health Coordination Committee (PHCC).
Attending PHCC and other coordination platform meetings at the provincial level
Facilitate and conduct joint supportive supervision visits with UNFPA regional PPHD and CBHC department of MoPH to FHHs and HPs.
Conduct regular monitoring and supervision visits to FHH and HPs
Prepare and submit monthly statistics via DHIS2 and quarterly progress narrative reports to AADA main office.
Preparing human interest stories about the project's interventions.
Participating in monthly and quarterly review meetings organized at the provincial level
Coordination with BPHS and EPHS implementers and establishing a proper referral system for complicated cases from FHH to higher-level health facilities using UNFPA-donated ambulance.
Ensuring regular maintenance and proper use of ambulances,
Responsible for the planning, implementation, and training activities.
Ensuring that “Do No Harm” practices are incorporated and upheld throughout the planning and implementation of the project.
Ensuring proper pharmacy management of FHHs that includes the consumption, supplies, stocks, rational use of drugs, etc...
Meet regularly with health shuras, community leaders, and other stakeholders, to ensure project effectiveness and community involvement in project implementation.
Maintaining good working relations with key actors in the province.
Any other duties assigned by the project manager
