Job Descriptions:

Communicate/Coordinate with community influential members, men and elders for gathering women and girls in the Health Facilities (HFs) or Service Delivery Point (SDP) for the purpose of receiving the health services. 
Conduct regular community mobilization sessions with community members on the services delivered in the MCHCs.
Identify vulnerable families eligible for assistance according to established selection criteria to be supported by the project.
• Keep the record for kits distributed for the by the MCHCs. 
• To do community mobilization in the coverage area of the MCHC.
• Communicate/Coordinate with community influential members or elders, for gathering women and girls in the SDP for the purpose of receiving the health services.

Conducting daily awareness sessions to community members regarding health services provided in the MCHC.
• Support other members/staff of the MCHC, as co-facilitator for the smooth delivery of services.
• Establish working relationships with all stakeholders at the district and community level for smooth implementation of the project.

Take active part in community mobilization in consultation with supervisor and in-charge of the MCHC based on the CARE policy.
• Visit each location in the coverage areas of the MCHC regularly as well as community leaders to provide space for the MCHC. 
• Informing village residents about MCHC’s existence and available services through ground walk. 
• Community awareness sessions regarding available services of the MCHC. 

Spread main messages about the topics e.g. health services, psychosocial services or any other relevant topics.
• Assist other relevant staff regarding follow-up of the services.  
• Provide required support and information to ensure high quality services delivery.
• Provide situation analysis and progress report to the supervisor and In charge of MCHC whenever required or based on the needs of the project. This may also include security updates and changes occurred in the target community.

Organize necessary orientation for community members and beneficiaries on the project activities and their roles.
• Assist project team leaders in regard to the quality implementation of the project activities in the field. 
• Maintain proper record of the kits distributed by the MCHC members.
• Perform any other tasks as requested by the supervisor and in-charge of the MCHC.

Job Requirements:

Education: At least baccalaureate degree. 

University degree in social science or in similar fields is preferable. 

Experience: 2 years’ experience in community mobilization with INGOs/NGOs/Government and others.

Ability to travel remote areas and districts. 
• Good relation and fame in the target community.
• Good communication skills
• Good organizational skills and ability to work effectively in team
