What You Will Achieve

As Marketing Director, you will be responsible for crafting and executing the overall marketing and growth vision for Aseel and its ecosystem of products.

Your mission: To position Aseel as a global leader in tech-for-good, build awareness around our platforms, and generate measurable growth in users, donors, and partners.

Within your first year, you will:

  • Develop and implement a unified marketing strategy across all Aseel products.
  • Lead global brand visibility campaigns for Aseel and its sub-products.
  • Build Aseel’s marketing engine—covering digital, content, performance, community, and PR functions.
  • Launch data-driven campaigns that drive measurable growth in users, sales, and donations.
  • Strengthen Aseel’s storytelling and thought leadership in humanitarian tech.
  • Establish Aseel as a trusted and recognizable name in ethical innovation and impact technology.
Job Requirements:

As a strategic leader and creative storyteller, you will:

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute an integrated global marketing strategy for Aseel’s ecosystem.
  • Drive brand positioning, ensuring consistency across all communication channels and product lines.
  • Collaborate with product leads to align marketing initiatives with product roadmaps and business goals.
  • Conduct quarterly strategic reviews to track progress, adapt to market trends, and measure impact.

Product Marketing & Growth

  • Lead go-to-market (GTM) strategies for all Aseel products (AidOS, Buy Good, Campaign+).
  • Partner with the Product and Design teams to implement growth loops, A/B testing, and UX optimization for higher retention and conversion.
  • Develop and oversee unified analytics dashboards for traffic, acquisition, retention, and engagement metrics.
  • Use data to inform marketing strategy — optimizing campaigns for ROI, retention, and impact storytelling.
  • Coordinate marketing integrations with e-commerce, CRM, and donation platforms.

Digital & Content Strategy

  • Oversee content creation and storytelling across web, mobile, and social media platforms.
  • Manage performance marketing, SEO, paid ads, and automation to scale audience engagement.
  • Build a localized content approach, adapting language and tone to key regions (Afghanistan, MENA, South Asia, Africa, U.S. diaspora).
  • Integrate impact storytelling (aid delivery visuals, artisan stories, donor updates) into campaigns.
  • Ensure Aseel’s voice combines authenticity, empathy, and innovation.

Partnerships & PR

  • Build and maintain relationships with media, partners, influencers, and institutional donors.
  • Lead B2B/B2G marketing targeting NGOs, UN agencies, governments, and social enterprises.
  • Develop branded decks, reports, and collateral that communicate Aseel’s impact and vision.
  • Represent Aseel in global conversations on tech-for-good, humanitarian innovation, and ethical commerce.

Team Leadership & Culture

  • Lead, mentor, and scale the marketing and growth team.
  • Foster collaboration, innovation, and accountability across all marketing functions.
  • Promote continuous learning, creativity, and performance transparency.

Nice to Haves

  • Experience working in impact-driven organizations, startups, or social enterprises.
  • Familiarity with emerging markets (United States, Asia, and Europe) and development ecosystems.
  • Understanding of blockchain, AI, or digital identity systems in social impact contexts.
  • Previous success leading product launches or multi-country campaigns.
  • Strong storytelling ability with an eye for design, UX, and community engagement.
  • Fluency in more than one language (English required; Arabic, Swahili, or French are a plus).
