Job Descriptions:

Position Summary:

The Senior Finance Manager will oversee all financial operations, ensure compliance with statutory regulations, and provide strategic financial guidance to management. The role demands strong analytical ability, hands-on experience in QuickBooks, and the capacity to lead and mentor the finance team.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day financial operations including accounting, budgeting, and cash management.
Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and management reports.
Manage the company’s financial planning, analysis, and forecasting functions.
Maintain effective internal controls and ensure compliance with Afghan tax laws and accounting standards.
Lead the implementation and maintenance of QuickBooks accounting systems.
Monitor expenditures, project budgets, and cost control mechanisms.
Coordinate with auditors, banks, and government authorities.
Provide strategic input to management on financial risks and opportunities.
Supervise and train finance staff to enhance performance and accountability.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
Minimum 7 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a senior managerial role.
Strong expertise in QuickBooks and financial reporting.
Thorough knowledge of Afghan tax laws and compliance procedures.
Proven ability to manage teams and lead organizational financial functions.
Professional certifications (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) preferred.
Excellent communication skills in English, Dari, and Pashto.
