Job Descriptions:
  • Orient and train data collectors on their responsibilities for the complete, accurate, and timely collection and reporting of data and information.
  • Collect and enter the reported data, assuring their completeness and accuracy.
  • Maintain updated databases and assist in preparing reports.
  • Perform regular monitoring visits to each of the program sites and produce field visit reports based on each visit.
  • Visit the project activities and see that the work is going as planned and according to the quality and design of the project.
  • Conduct focus group discussions in the communities, as instructed, to obtain qualitative information for the project activities – particularly among women.
  • Provide feedback and information from the weekly and monthly reports to project stakeholders to improve the quality of programming; advise the Kabul main office of strengths and weaknesses, issues and concerns and successes reported or discovered.
  • Track progress towards achieving project objectives over time (weekly/monthly) and assist in preparing graphic presentations. These progress analyses will be prepared for weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual project reports.
  • Conduct regular client’s responsiveness and accountability awareness raising sessions for the clients to ensure accountability to affected population.
  • Capture, record and document learnings including lessons learned, the best practices and success stories throughout the project lifecycle and share it on a timely manner with the program and Kabul MEAL team.
  • Perform other duties in case of requirement.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in BBA, Social Science, Literature or any other related field.
  • 1 - 2 years or more experience in the field of MEAL with national or international organizations.
  • Ability to prepare tabular and graphic presentations.
  • Data collection experience with Kobo, CammCare through tablets/smart phone.
  • Ability to frequently travel to the districts’ community where IRC has intervention.  
  • Good written and communications skills in English, excellent Pashto and Dari language skills
  • Proficiency in the use of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint computer applications
