The QC Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all construction works and materials meet the required technical specifications, quality standards, and project requirements. The position involves daily site inspections, materials testing coordination, documentation of results, and close collaboration with engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors to maintain quality compliance throughout all project phases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement project-specific quality control plans, procedures, and inspection checklists.
- Inspect and monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to design specifications and drawings.
- Verify materials and workmanship meet required standards and project specifications.
- Conduct or coordinate field and laboratory testing of materials (soil, concrete, asphalt, aggregates, etc.).
- Review test reports and maintain all quality control documentation for project records.
- Identify and report non-conformances, propose corrective actions, and ensure timely resolution.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager, Chief Engineer, and site teams for quality assurance compliance.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly QC reports and submit to the Project Manager.
- Ensure that health, safety, and environmental standards are followed during quality inspections.
