The Vaccinator is responsible to manage and administer the vaccines for the targeted age groups of the population including children and pregnant women in targeted areas of the targeted province as per the MoPH guidelines and protocols.
Duties & Responsibilities
1. Regular vaccination for eligible women and children at the level of the mobile health and nutrition team.
2. Administration and daily control of vaccine temperature.
3. Having regular attendance and a regular and timely reporting system.
4. Maintaining and guarding all systems and devices related to the HF.
5. Monitor the child administered with vaccine for 30 minutes, orient patients and caregivers on potential side effects, and follow up for severe symptoms.
6. Disposing of needles and syringes and using a safety box.
7. Providing health advertisements about the importance of vaccinations and emphasizing keeping the vaccination card current to the clients.
8. Daily control of the temperature of vaccines and recording it on paper, recording the temperature at the beginning of the formalities.
9. Registering the adapted vaccines in the relevant registers and tally sheets.
10. Preparing and delivering monthly reports to the relevant supervisor at a certain time.
11. Ongoing efforts to raise the level of professional knowledge.
12. Observing the cleanliness and safety of the relevant room and its proper arrangement.
13. Refer complicated cases to a doctor or higher levels and follow up on cases.
