About ACTD:

ACTD stands for Afghanistan Center for Training and Development. ACTD is an Afghan national non-governmental and non for-profit organization, founded in April 2006, and registered with national ministries (Ministry of Economy, and Ministry of Public Health) of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. ACTD is the product of consultations, assessments and dialog among well versed professionals of the current development and democratization stream of Afghanistan. Immediately after establishment, ACTD focused on aligning its structures and systems to the higher needs of the country and international standards of non-profit practice.

From 2006 to date, ACTD has been implementing various projects in line with its mission and vision and based on the real needs of the population it serves. These projects are selected in close consultation and collaboration with local authorities, communities and all other stakeholders. Job Descriptions:

The Pediatric Specialist will deliver preventive and curative services for infants and children during mobile health camps in underserved areas. The role involves diagnosing pediatric illnesses, managing nutrition and immunization-related issues, and educating caregivers on child health.

Job Requirements:

Examine and treat infants, children, and adolescents
Address acute pediatric illnesses and monitor growth/development
Provide nutrition counseling and support immunization efforts
Refer complex cases as needed
Record and report clinical findings
