The Clinician / Pharmacist Auditors will be responsible for conducting comprehensive health facility audits, including drug-stock reconciliation, patient-exit interviews, and clinical quality assessments in alignment with World Bank and HER project requirements. These regional field-based roles are crucial to ensuring that accurate, timely, and independently verified data is collected across the healthcare delivery system. The auditors will also contribute to quarterly performance reports and work closely with the Lead Health-Sector Specialist.
Multiple Positions are available for this role to support deployments across different regions
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform on-site audits of health facilities, verifying records, staff presence, inventory, and documentation
- Reconcile pharmacy stock levels with usage logs and procurement records
- Conduct patient-exit surveys to validate service delivery, patient satisfaction, and referral pathways
- Apply clinical assessment tools including vignette-style evaluations or observational checklists
- Ensure compliance with HER project standards, E&S safeguards, and grievance redress mechanisms (GRM)
- Use HMIS systems and digital tools (e.g., Kobo, ODK) for data entry and synchronization
- Report irregularities in drug management, equipment functionality, or service availability
- Liaise with provincial public health offices, SP representatives, and facility staff as needed
- Ensure gender sensitivity during data collection, including interviewing female patients when applicable
- Coordinate with regional supervisors and data analysts to validate findings
