JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Summary: 

The Operations Field Coordinator will support the daily operational needs of i-APS’s field missions under the World Bank TPM projects. This includes managing logistics, coordinating travel itineraries, arranging hotel bookings, per diem distributions, and ensuring supply caches are in place for mission teams. The Coordinator will play a critical role in enabling secure, efficient, and well-supported field deployments in Kabul and the project corridors.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate daily movement plans, including corridor convoy arrangements in collaboration with security and field teams
  • Oversee field logistics, such as booking accommodations, preparing supply kits, and managing field office utilities
  • Ensure timely disbursement of per diems and allowances to field staff according to policy
  • Maintain and track field inventory including communications tools, PPE, kits, and documentation
  • Support pre-deployment checklists and ensure field staff receive mission briefs and equipment
  • Liaise with drivers, local coordinators, and vendors to ensure smooth logistics execution
  • Monitor fuel usage, vehicle status, and routine supply replenishment
  • Collaborate with security focal points to ensure all logistics align with security protocols
  • Archive operational records, including movement logs, payment receipts, and procurement files
  • Assist the Kabul operations team in managing internal procurement and office support tasks as needed
Job Requirements:

 JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (Bachelor’s preferred)
  • At least 5 years of practical experience in field logistics coordination, ideally with NGOs, UN, or security-sensitive operations
  • Experience in convoy coordination, supply chain support, and per diem systems
  • Knowledge of Kabul-based vendors and regional transport networks
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills
  • Familiarity with logistics management tools and Excel tracking sheets
  • Fluency in Dari and Pashto; English proficiency is Required
  • Willingness to travel to field corridors and provincial capitals as required under guided movement protocols
