Job Descriptions:

We are looking for a expert and dynamic Seior Environmental Specialist and Environmental Expert to join our network leading our environmental and geotechnical consulting sector. This position involves managing field assessments, preparing environmental reports, leading environmental consulting teams, and ensuring compliance with national and international standards, including ISO, ESG, and EIA regulations.

Job Requirements:

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Advisory & Project Implementation: Providing expert insights and solutions tailored to sector-specific challenges.
  • Policy & Regulatory Compliance: Assisting stakeholders in aligning with national and international environmental, economic, and governance standards.
  • Conduct EIAs, baseline surveys, feasibility studies, and risk assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 14001, ESG, MoMP and national environmental laws.
  • Develop and implement sustainability strategies for long-term impact.
  • Lead and manage technical teams on environmental and geotechnical projects.
  • Oversee planning, budgeting, and execution of assigned projects.
  • Prepare related technical documents, manuals, forms, and reporting templates.
  • Assist in drafting and review of proposals, plans, marketing, and technical content.
  • Support tender submissions and contract negotiations.
  • Represent the company at events, hearings, and stakeholder workshops, engagements and strategic collaborations.
  • Conduct impact evaluations and research to enhance project outcomes.
  • Ensure data integrity, field safety, and ethical standards.
  • Maintain and manage stakeholder and client relationships.
  • Report regularly to the CEO and Vice President on project progress.

Eligibility & Selection Criteria

📌 Education & Experience

  • Master's (PhD preferred) in Environmental Science, Environmental Geology, Environmental Mining Engineering or related fields
  • Proven experience with international environmental standards and national licensing processes (e.g., NEPA, MoMP).

📌 Technical & Core Competencies

  • Dynamic mixed background with different private sectors and NGOs.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Proficiency in industry-specific software, GIS, modelling, or digital tools (where applicable)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and internet (familiarity with other applications is an advantage).
  • Ability to work independently and manage deadlines efficiently.
  • Ability to travel to project sites and provinces when required.

📌 Language Proficiency

  • Fluency in English language is a must
  • Proficiency in national languages (Dari/Pashto/Uzbeki)
  • Knowledge of Chines or German language is a plus

  • Willingness to undertake field visits and remote assignments as needed.
  • Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams and international project settings.
