Job Descriptions:
  • Maintain safe and secure surrounding for all the employment.
  •  Monitor the flow of the visitors.
  •  Creating a safe and comfortable working environment for staff.
  •  Utilizing a CCTV system to identify adverse activities on campus.
  •  Advisory to Field Coordinator, CD, security Manager by Providing timely information.
  • Train Staff and security guards on security related matters.
  •  Update weekly access report and submit it to F.C.
  • providing safety and security training for staff.
  • Briefing staff on the situation and provide them recommendations.
  • Check and validate the weekly movement plan of the teams.
  • Proper movement check/tracking with teams.
  •  Attending security round table meetings with INSO and other NGO colleagues.
  • Security assessment, of the provinces, districts, roads, and compounds and apply mitigation measures.
  • Responding to emergency situations as arise.
  • communicate with actors ANSF/NGOs and organizations.
  • Access control of the base, entry, and exit.
  • proper Check of security equipment, Radio, Phone, metal detectors, mirrors, safe room, fire extinguishers, airlocks, padlocks, etc.
  • Monitor and supervise Guards' and radio operators' duties.
  • Maintain a close vigilance on the local political and military situation in the region and keep informed on a regular basis.
  • Building a strong source of information.
  • Reporting of Daily, Bi-weekly, and monthly security report.
  • Situational aware ness and keep staff update.
  • Providing the following training to all staff.
  • Basic security training (General)- Earthquake Training (How to act in case of an earthquake)
  • Fire evacuation training (How to deal with fire)
  • Fire extinguisher training (How to use fire extinguisher)
  • Bomb Blast and Caught in firing training (How to react in case of an explosion in your vicinity or caught in firing)
  • Active shooter (How to react to an active shooter in your vicinity)
Job Requirements:
  • This individual must have at least two years’ experience working in humanitarian safety and     security (at any level with technical responsibilities). Must have knowledge of incident reporting protocols and experience in report writing.
