Job Summary:

It’s a fulltime job and the position holder would work six days/week. Admin/Finance Officer is responsible for managing and archiving financial documents related to project activities and ensure proper consumption of resources as per project budget and contract. Project admin/finance officer will work in close coordination with OSID Administration and Finance Department.

Key Responsibilities:

Admin /finance officer will work under supervision of Operation manager
Checking of all expenses according to budget line and prepare the Project financial Reports.
Preparing Payment vouchers and complete the required supporting documents according to OSID Financial Policy.
Checking of every Payroll, Bills and every document to be as per rules/ regulation and Administrative and Financial policy of OSID.
Collecting the vouchers from province on weekly base.
Checking all the sites expenses reports, and to ensure all the expenses are according to the correct budget line.
Ensure all supporting documentation for all financial transactions are maintained in a systematic order and in a safe and secure condition under the custody of the organization.
Undertaking all transactions at bank (preparing transfers, receiving bank debit and credit advice, monthly financial statements, cash flow statements and bank reconciliation statement, every month or where required)
Preparing final reports and forecasting budgets as necessary.
Controlling and supervising the Financial and procurement policies
Checking, controlling and Monitor cash flow on Daily basis.
Keep and record all the financial transaction using Quick book software.
Ensuring accounting documents/files for financial audit and financial Spot-check.
Preparing fund request for field offices.
Preparing the semi-annual reports due to the Ministry of Economy (MoE), and to ensure the completed online report as well as sending the hard reports on due time.
Preparing the withholding taxation through ARDES with medium tax office (MTO) as per taxation policy of Afghanistan.
Will assist in Logistic and Administrative support to project whenever required.

Qualifications:

Bachelor degree in the relevant field
Expert of Quick book software.
Knowledge of NGO operations.
Minimum 3 years’ specific experience in Admin & Finance Section.
Experience of working with UN Projects is an asset.
Ability to set priorities and manage time effectively.
Advanced English language ability.
Flexible, confident and able to handle multi-tasks
Fluency in local languages and excellent reporting skill in English is required
