Position Summary:
The Social Media Officer will be responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring the organization's social media strategy to increase brand awareness, improve marketing efforts, and enhance audience engagement.
The role involves content creation, community management, social media analytics, and coordination with other departments.
Reports to: Media Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement social media strategies in line with Qamar Foundation’s goals.
- Create engaging and creative content for various social Media platforms.
- Monitor and manage all social media accounts and respond to followers in a timely manner.
- Analyze campaign performance and prepare monthly reports using analytics tools.
- Stay updated on social media trends and recommend improvements.
- Coordinate with field teams to gather stories, photos, and updates for content.
- Assist in digital fundraising and awareness campaigns.
- Monitor online mentions and media coverage and prepare clippings when needed.
- Uphold the values, branding, and ethical standards of the organization across all digital platforms.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by the line manager.
