Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, Agronomy, or related field
- Minimum 5 years experience in agricultural extension or rural development projects
- Practical experience with both crop and livestock production systems
- Familiarity with climate-smart agriculture approaches
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of crop husbandry and livestock management
- Understanding of soil health, water management, and pest control
- Experience with farmer training methodologies
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, data collection apps)
Essential Attributes:
- Excellent communication and training skills
- Ability to work effectively with rural communities
- Fluency in local languages (specify if required)
- Willingness to travel extensively to remote areas
Work Environment:
- 80% field-based work in rural farming communities
- 20% office-based for planning and reporting
- Exposure to all weather conditions and agricultural environments
