Project Management Initiative Program (PMIP) Initiated by Lazuli Pamir Consulting Engineering Services Co. is a leading capacity-building and consulting organization based in Afghanistan, dedicated to delivering high-quality training and development services across the country. We specialize in project and program management, health and safety (HSE), contract management, and proposal writing, catering to the needs of the humanitarian, development, and construction sectors.

In line with our mission in Lazuli Pamir Consulting to build a skilled and certified workforce, we have launched the Project Management Initiative Program (PMIP) — a flagship effort to strengthen the professional capacities of individuals and institutions across Afghanistan. Through PMIP, we aim to empower local professionals with the tools, knowledge, and internationally recognized certifications required to manage complex projects and drive sustainable development.

As an Authorized Training Partner (ATP) of both the Project Management Institute (PMI®) and PM4NGOs, we are officially licensed to deliver globally recognized certifications such as PMP®, PgMP®, PRINCE2, Program DPro, and Project DPro, tailored to meet the unique needs of Afghanistan’s socio-economic context.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Program Manager in the daily management of the program’s activities and overall administration.
• Help to develop and implement program strategies, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals.
• Manage relationships with stakeholders, including participants, instructors, and institutional partners.
• Coordinate with other team members to ensure that all program components, such as course scheduling, instructor assignments, and resource allocation, are efficiently managed.
• Monitor program progress against goals and prepare detailed reports on milestones and adjustments.
• Oversee the resolution of issues that affect program scope, quality, risk, and schedule.
• Assist in budget preparation and monitoring financial performance.
• Support the marketing and participant recruitment efforts by collaborating with the marketing team.
• Facilitate continuous improvement by incorporating feedback from participants and instructors into program enhancements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Education, or related field.
• PgMP, PMP, PRINCE2 Certification are highly preferred.
• At least 7 years of experience in program management, preferably in education or professional training.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication skills with proficiency in English; Dari or Pashto fluency is advantageous.
• Familiarity with the standards of project management and educational program delivery.
