This project, "Promoting Integrated Service Delivery for TB and Other Respiratory Diseases by Addressing Access Barriers at Primary Healthcare Settings with Contextualized Interventions," will be implemented in 17 HFs in 7 districts of Farah and 32 HFs in 17 districts of Badakhshan provinces through Mobile Health Teams (MHT).

Job Descriptions:

Job Summary:

The X-ray Technician is responsible for reporting to Project Manager (PM) and Project Provincial Officer (PPO) in the respective province.

With travels to Badakhshan Districts (Argo, Arghanjowa, Baharak, Darwaz-e-Bala, Fayzabad, Jurm, Keran-o-Menjan, Keshm, Kohestan, Raghestan, Shighnan, Shahr-e-Buzorg, Shohada, Wordooj, Yaftal Sofla, Yamgan (Geerwan), Zebak).

Farah Districts (Anaar Darah, Farah, Khak-e-Safid, Laash-o-Jaween, Por Chaman, Posht-e-Road, Sheeb Koh).

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the mobile team during the project operations in target districts
Operate portable artificial intelligence (AI) equipped machine and other diagnostic imaging equipment in the field environment
Ability to set up and calibrate equipment at mobile clinic to ensure optimal performance
Ensure all equipment is in place and fully charged in the vehicle before traveling for daily visits.
Prepare monthly reports and send to PM and PPO
Ensure that confidentiality and privacy of patients is in placed
Any other task assigned by supervisor

Job Requirements:

Education

Bachelor in medical imaging or radiology

Experience

At least 3 years of experience in related field

Skills

Fluent in local languages and good English skills in speaking, writing and reading
Be familiar with the culture of the people in the target province to ensure effective communication and engagement
