Job Summary:
The Project Provincial Officer (PPO) is responsible for overall project implementation of TB REACH Wave 11 and reporting to Project Manager (PM) and Executive Director (ED) for the respective province.
With travels to Badakhshan Districts (Argo, Arghanjowa, Baharak, Darwaz-e-Bala, Fayzabad, Jurm, Keran-o-Menjan, Keshm, Kohestan, Raghestan, Shighnan, Shahr-e-Buzorg, Shohada, Wordooj, Yaftal Sofla, Yamgan (Geerwan), Zebak).
Farah Districts (Anaar Darah, Farah, Khak-e-Safid, Laash-o-Jaween, Por Chaman, Posht-e-Road, Sheeb Koh).
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with the PPHD, BPHS implementers and other stakeholders in Badakhshan and Farah provinces
- Arrange and participate in PHCC and other stakeholder’s meetings at the province and district level.
- Supervise and monitor the project’s activities to achieve the project targets indicators
- Arrange and facilitate training for MHT staff, midwives and male nurses on integrated screening for TB and respiratory diseases in close coordination of the PTCs and PLSs
- Develop the monthly field visit plan for MHT
- Ensure about the security situation of field (the rout is safe) before visits with MHT
- Collect and provide data according to project’s M&E framework on agreed indicators on monthly basis (disaggregated by weekly performance) and submit it to ODSSA on a given and agreed timeline
- Facilitate and conduct the quarterly TB review meetings in close coordination with PTCs and PLSs
- Carry out financial verifications as recommended by the project’s financial SOPs
- Follow up the referral patients of respiratory diseases in secondary and tertiary health facility (HF)
- Collect the tested sample results from the GX site and inform the MHT about the confirmed TB cases
- Facilitate payments to the project beneficiaries.
- Any other task assigned by supervisor.
