This initiative equips them with the necessary skills to succeed in future positions across various departments, while enhancing their employability in the local job market.
The program focuses on building a talent pool that is well-rounded, strengthening both technical abilities and essential behavioral/life skills. Additionally, it provides young individuals with the chance to refine their skills, share their experiences, and contribute meaningfully in a professional context.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist in understanding and working towards achieving monthly and yearly coverage and EPI indicators.
- Assist in maintaining an updated list of EPI and MCH dropouts to follow them up during outreach sessions.
- Assist in storing, handling, and maintaining vaccines in line with Afghan N-EPI/UNICEF/WHO protocols.
- Assist in disposing of contaminated waste responsibly to prevent exposure.
- Assist in providing fixed and outreach EPI activities.
- Assist in always maintaining a high level of cold chain management.
- Assist in responding immediately to any cold chain irregularities, including sending vaccines to the nearest health facility with a functional cold chain system.
- Assist in reporting any cold chain irregularities to the supervisor immediately.
- Assist in providing appropriate patient education to prevent dropouts and increase coverage.
- Assist in delivering health education to clients during fixed and outreach sessions.
- Assist in identifying and reporting problems that interfere with service delivery.
- Assist in preparing and submitting complete, accurate, and timely monthly activity reports.
