Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues with systems and performing necessary configurations to improve their performance.

Installing and updating required software based on the university’s educational and application programs.

Monitoring software licenses and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to software.

Implementing security policies to protect information and systems, and preventing unauthorized access.

Running antivirus programs and ensuring regular updates to protect systems from cyber threats.

Providing guidance and assistance to students and faculty in using laboratory equipment and software.

Educating users on safety principles, equipment maintenance, and proper use of software.

Managing and monitoring consumable resources, including peripherals and computer equipment.

Preparing periodic reports on the status of equipment, resource consumption, and future needs to be presented to the university management.

Identifying needs and making recommendations for improving and upgrading the existing equipment and resources in the laboratory.

Planning and following up on the purchase of new equipment or the replacement of outdated equipment.

Creating and managing a schedule for laboratory use, ensuring sufficient space for educational and research activities.

Monitoring compliance with regulations and maintaining order in the laboratory by users.

Providing safety instructions and ensuring their compliance by laboratory users.

Performing other related duties as assigned by the direct supervisor according to legal requirements.
