Job Summary
The Senior Manager - International & Wholesale Carrier Relations will support the Director in managing international carrier partnerships, executing wholesale strategies, and ensuring operational efficiency. The role involves handling negotiations, analyzing traffic trends, managing CWS agreements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive revenue growth while maintaining cost efficiency.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist in managing relationships with international and regional telecom carriers, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Support the execution of business opportunities in international voice, local interconnect, roaming, SMS, Data, OpEx, Fiber, and rings.
- Assist in contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and implementation of interconnect agreements.
- Analyze traffic flows, identify cost-saving opportunities, and recommend optimization strategies.
- Work closely with internal teams (billing, finance, technical, RA, internal audit, and marketing) to ensure timely dispute resolution, accurate billing, and service quality maintenance.
- Track industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory updates to provide insights for strategic decision-making.
- Assist in managing international roaming agreements, including document exchange (IR21, AA14, IR24, IR32, IR35, IR38) and agreement follow-ups.
- Responsible for launching commercial GSM, GPRS, 3G, and LTE services, coordinating with roaming partners and technical teams.
- Check and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly roaming revenue and costs.
- Contact roaming partners for IOT discount agreements, review terms and coordinate with IT and EDCH for implementation.
- Manage roaming test SIM cards, schedule IREG tests, and follow-up with IT for TAP file generation and validation.
- Follow-up on payments and collections related to international carrier and roaming agreements.
- Provide guidance to junior team members and ensure knowledge transfer within the department.
- Planning the DPLC and upstream and negotiating with vendors for better pricing, quality, and redundancies.
- Foster a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment by mentoring team members, conducting training sessions, and developing leadership capabilities within the team.
