About Organization of Human Welfare (OHW):

The Organization of Human Welfare (OHW) is a non-governmental organization and is a non-political, not-for-profit, and impartial organization with no bias towards a particular religion, ethnicity, or political belief. It has its own independent legal status and entity. OHW is operating since 2007 in the country with active membership with the national clusters and international donor agencies in Afghanistan including SWABAC, ACBAR, AICS, BAAG, AWN and most of the national and international Clusters operates based in Afghanistan.

Job Descriptions:
  • The helpdesk staff is responsible to be available at his/her desk full time during the distributions.
  • The focal point is responsible to report or document any excluded HHs, who are reporting to the DP, and use the logbook or beneficiary appeal form.
  • Project supervisors/managers are required to share any critical issue/information recorded by helpdesk with donor daily.
  • The focal point is responsible to give first priority to aged, disabled, pregnant or lactating beneficiaries to receive food/cash. 
  • The focal point is responsible to register and report the most vulnerable HHs who are not listed and refer to receive assistance to the project supervisor for verification.
  • The Help desk is responsible for address any question / query arise from any beneficiary

Any other task given by the District supervisor or project Manager.

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor or High School degree in relevant field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevent experience.
  • Working in the relevant posotion with NGOs/INGOs.
  • Fluency in spoken Pashto, Dari are required. Having excellent working knowledge of written and spoken English.
