Job Descriptions:

Specific responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to the following:

  1. Market survey for competitors, clients and other stakeholders.
  2. Connecting present and potential clients to receive information about their needs.
  3. Overseeing transit, transport and custom clearance activities and support clients in respective areas.
  4. Preparing and maintaining detailed logistics documentation and reporting.
  5. Maintain communications with warehouse staff to avoid delays and misunderstandings.
  6. Coordinate the dispatch and delivery of goods with personal drivers or through third-party carriers.
  7. Liaison between clients, government and other stakeholders.
  8. Identifying best transportation mood based on client and product needs.
  9. Functioning as coordinator between PHTF main office and field office team.
  10. Controlling of attendance on daily basis and report to HR at the end of month.
  11. Monitor office expenditures and handle all office contracts (rent, service etc.).
  12. Monitor office supplies inventory and place orders.
  13. Maintain files and records with effective filing systems.
  14. Support other teams with various administrative tasks (redirecting calls, disseminating correspondence, scheduling meetings etc.).
  15. Reporting activity, financial and other aspects of the field office to PHTF-MO.
  16. Travel to client location and nearby borders when deemed necessary.
  17. Any other activities and duties as assigned and asked by main office and management.
Job Requirements:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in transit and forwarding sector of Afghanistan.
  3. Strong knowledge of transit & forwarding, custom clearance and transportation rules and regulations.
  4. Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information with discretion.
  5. Full working knowledge of English (ii) fluency in two national languages and good reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills, and (iii), the ability to interact and coordinate with organization staff, contractors, Government officials, consultants, and Donors.
  6. Good interpersonal skills with experience in networking with partners at all levels (government, donors, private sector, NGOs, and local community-based organizations).
  7. Good management, reporting and communication skills in Computer, especially with MS office Package.
  8. Flexible in working hours.
  9. He/ she must be honest, trust worthy, active and well mannered (polite and cooperative with all colleagues).
