Required Professional Experience:

At least 3 years of monitoring and evaluation experience in a similar job and having experience and knowledge of MEAL is preferred.

Required Education, training, license, registration, and certification:

University degree in relevant fields such as demography, Statistics, Social Science, and Management or Computer science.

Preferred Knowledge and Qualifications:

Experience with mobile data collection (Comcare) platforms.

Ability to set priorities and undertake new tasks quickly.

Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of audiences.

Job Descriptions:

Humanitarian Accountability

  • Collaborate with the MEAL senior Officer to track and register complaints/feedback from female/male participants through the existing channels in conducting the awareness session.
  • Support the AQBE project manager to update the complaints and feedback forms/ database.
  • Support the AQBE project manager to collect data from participants/ beneficiaries and translate this data into accountability reports submitted on weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.
  • Follow-up close-out of feedback provided by participants.
  • Support training participants on COAR humanitarian accountability mechanisms

Monitoring

  • Support the AQBE project manager to conduct field visits of the public schools and CBEs, or any other monitoring activities assigned targeting beneficiaries. 
  • Collaborate with project staff to conduct rapid assessments, CBE and public-school assessments, or any special assessments targeting female/male participants/ beneficiaries or respondents.
  • Support the project team to conduct post-distribution monitoring or any other monitoring activities assigned to target beneficiaries. 
  • Support the roll-out of monitoring tools and processes designed to increase beneficiaries' participation in MEAL processes.

Baselines and Evaluation (End lines)

  • Support the project team to data collection for baselines and evaluations (end lines) among beneficiaries.

Reporting and Learning:

  • Provide monthly MEAL report to the supervisor; After conducting a field visit share the monitoring report with the supervisor.
  • Support identification of appropriate success stories (particularly women and girls’ beneficiaries storied) for the assigned projects and share with the project manager and/or communication department.

Other:

  • Adhere to COAR Child and Adult Safeguarding policy and standards.
  • Adhere to COAR accountability standards and SOP.
  • Assist the CFM and CP Officers in training facilitations in terms of accountability awareness sessions.
  • Keep close coordination with the CFM officer and province project manager officer about accountability issues.
  • To be aware and prepared to implement COAR Emergency Affairs plan under the context of COAR targeted areas and interventions.
  • Perform other tasks that would be assigned by line supervisor.
