Afghanistan Relief and Sustainable Development Organization (ARSDO) is a national, non-profit development organization established in 2017 and registered with the Ministry of Economy of Afghanistan (Registration No. 4190). Job Descriptions:

1. Purpose of the Position

The PSEAH/RH Officer is responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring reproductive health (RH) activities while ensuring integration of Protection from Sexual Exploitation, Abuse, and Harassment (PSEAH) principles across all organizational activities. The role ensures quality RH service delivery and promotes a safe, accountable, and abuse‑free environment for staff and beneficiaries.

2. Key Responsibilities

Reproductive Health (RH) Responsibilities

·       Support implementation of RH services in line with organizational and national health guidelines.

·       Supervise and monitor RH-related activities at health facilities or program sites.

·       Ensure quality of maternal, neonatal, family planning, and other RH services.

·       Conduct regular field visits and provide technical support to health staff.

·       Collect, compile, and report RH data accurately and timely.

·       Support capacity building and on-the-job training of RH staff.

·       Coordinate with management and health teams for service improvement.

·       Ensure compliance with national standards and donor requirements.

 

PSEAH Responsibilities

·       Promote awareness of PSEAH policies, Code of Conduct, and safeguarding principles among staff and communities.

·       Support implementation of PSEAH prevention and response activities within the organization.

·       Facilitate PSEAH orientation and awareness sessions for staff and community members.

·       Promote safe, confidential, and survivor-centered reporting mechanisms.

·       Support identification and mitigation of PSEAH risks at field level.

·       Coordinate closely with the PSEA & Safeguarding Officer on cases, referrals, and awareness activities.

·       Maintain strict confidentiality in handling all PSEAH-related matters.

·       Ensure a safe, respectful, and abuse-free working environment.

 

3. Reporting Line

 Reports directly to Project Coordinator

 

4. Qualifications

·       Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Medicine, Nursing, or related field.

·       Minimum 3–5 years of experience in RH programming with NGOs/INGOs.

·       Demonstrated knowledge of safeguarding and PSEAH principles.

  • Fluency in Pashto/Dari; working knowledge of English is preferred.

·       Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.

 

5. PSEA
