Job Descriptions:
  • Finance Officer responsibilities involves verifying and recording various financial documents in QuickBooks, overseeing monthly payment verification, preparing vouchers and maintaining bank account journals, developing and managing the annual budget, generating accurate financial reports, managing day-to-day financial operations, coordinating audits and tax filings, ensuring accuracy of coding, salaries, and payments, preparing monthly ledger and closing documents, implementing and monitoring financial procedures, scanning and filing documents, and preparing quarterly and yearly financial reports. Additionally, the Finance Officer will contribute to the organization's commitment to preventing Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) by integrating PSEA principles into their work.
Job Requirements:

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Verification and record PR, PO, advance, payment vouchers, overtimes, travel claims in QuickBooks.
  • Verification of Monthly payment documents (e.g., rental vehicle, office, guesthouse, WH rents…)
  • Check and verification and prepare Vouchers and maintain journals of all bank accounts.
  • Develop and manage the organization's annual budget, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Prepare timely and accurate financial reports for internal and external stakeholders, including donors, partners, and regulators.
  • Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
  • Coordinate annual internal, external audits and tax filings, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Coordinate with Program Management/Managing director and HR Officer to ensure accuracy of coding, salaries and payments
  • Prepare monthly ledger and closing documents
  • Develop, implement, and monitor financial procedures, ensuring compliance with local and international financial reporting standards, laws, and regulations.
  • Every document must be scanned/copied and filed in proper and timely manner.
  • Must prepare quarterly and yearly financial report.
  • Monitor and control expenses to ensure all are according to the proper cost of Main office and field offices.
  • Any other duty assigned by line manager or head supervisor.
