The Project Manager is responsible for the overall planning, implementation, coordination, and supervision of project activities to ensure that project objectives are achieved within the approved scope, timeline, budget, and quality standards. The role includes leading and coordinating project teams, managing resources efficiently, monitoring project progress, ensuring compliance with donor and organizational requirements, and preparing timely technical and narrative reports for senior management and donors. The Project Manager is also responsible for maintaining effective coordination and strong working relationships with government authorities, donors, partners, community stakeholders, and other relevant actors to ensure successful project implementation and sustainability.
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure objectives are met efficiently
· Lead, coordinate, and supervise field and program staff to ensure smooth and timely project implementation
· Monitor project progress, quality, and compliance with organizational policies, donor requirements, and international standards
· Prepare accurate and timely reports for management, donors, and stakeholders, including progress updates, financial summaries, and impact assessments
· Identify potential risks and challenges, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure project objectives are achieved
· Facilitate effective coordination and communication with stakeholders, partners, government entities, and beneficiaries to ensure alignment and collaboration
· Support capacity building of project teams through technical guidance, coaching, and training
· Ensure documentation of lessons learned, best practices, success stories, and program innovations for knowledge sharing and organizational learning
· Conduct periodic project evaluations and provide recommendations for improvements or adjustments
· Ensure adherence to safeguarding, protection, and ethical standards in all project activities.
