The Community Mobilization Assistant is responsible for supporting the effective implementation of community-based activities under the livelihood Project. The position will mobilize communities and facilitate beneficiary participation in livelihoods interventions, including MSME development, livestock, and agriculture activities. The incumbent will work closely with community structures, local authorities, and project staff to ensure transparent beneficiary selection, effective communication, community engagement, and timely implementation of project activities. The Community Mobilization Assistant will also support awareness raising, training, monitoring, data collection, and reporting and ensuring compliance with organizational policies, safeguarding standards, and donor requirements.
1. Mobilize target communities and conduct awareness sessions on project objectives, eligibility criteria, and beneficiary responsibilities.
2. Support the identification, registration, verification, and selection of beneficiaries for MSME, livestock, and agriculture interventions.
3. Facilitate community meetings, focus group discussions, and consultations with community members and local stakeholders.
4. Assist in organizing training, workshops, demonstrations, exposure visits, and distribution activities for MSME, livestock, and agriculture components.
5. Support MSME activities, including business assessments, entrepreneurship training, business coaching, market linkage events, and business grant implementation.
6. Assist livestock activities, including beneficiary registration, dairy cow distribution, livestock management training, and post-distribution monitoring.
7. Support agriculture activities through beneficiary mobilization, agricultural training, demonstration sessions, and distribution of agricultural inputs.
8. Promote improved business, livestock, and climate-smart agriculture practices among project beneficiaries.
9. Coordinate with local shuras, local authorities, DAIL, business associations, and other stakeholders to facilitate project implementation.
10. Conduct regular field visits, monitor beneficiary participation, collect project data, and prepare activity reports and project documentation.
11. Promote the inclusion of women, youth, returnees, persons with disabilities, and other vulnerable groups in all project activities.
12. Ensure compliance with organizational safeguarding policies, PSEA, Child Safeguarding, Gender Equality, and the Code of Conduct.
13. Support logistical and administrative arrangements for field activities, trainings, and community events.
14. Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor to support the successful implementation of the livelihood Project.
