Job Description

The Faculty of Business Administration at Mustaqbal University is seeking a qualified Lecturer to deliver high-quality instruction in Business Administration and related disciplines. The candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate courses, preparing lesson plans and learning materials, and applying effective and student-centered teaching methods to ensure student engagement and achievement of learning outcomes.

The role includes designing and evaluating assignments, quizzes, case studies, presentations, and examinations, monitoring student progress, and maintaining accurate academic records. The Lecturer is also expected to contribute to curriculum development, participate in academic and faculty meetings, and support departmental academic activities.

In addition, the position involves engaging in academic and applied research, developing research proposals, publishing scholarly work, and providing academic guidance and mentorship to students. The Lecturer will ensure effective classroom management and discipline while upholding academic standards and professional ethics in accordance with Mustaqbal University policies, procedures, and the regulations of the Ministry of Higher Education.

  1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a closely related field from a recognized university or higher education institution.
  2. The academic degree and educational documents must be officially attested by the Ministry of Higher Education of Afghanistan.
  3. A minimum of 2–4 years of relevant teaching and academic experience in Business Administration or related fields is preferred.
  4. Strong knowledge of Business Administration principles, theories, practices, and current developments in the field.
  5. Excellent teaching, presentation, communication, classroom management, and student engagement skills.
  6. Ability to prepare lesson plans, lectures, assignments, quizzes, examinations, case studies, and other academic materials.
  7. Demonstrated ability and interest in conducting academic and applied research and publishing research findings in recognized academic journals or other scholarly platforms.
  8. Ability to work effectively with faculty members, university management, students, and other stakeholders in a professional academic environment.
