Job Summary

Ariyabod ISP is looking for a reliable and experienced IT Technician and Network Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate is responsible for providing technical support to customers regarding Internet services, troubleshooting and resolving customer complaints, and installing and supporting internet services. This position requires excellent technical skills, customer service skills, as well as the ability to work independently and with a team.

Ariyabod ISP is seeking a reliable, experienced, and highly motivated IT Technician & Network Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to customers, installing and maintaining internet services, troubleshooting network and connectivity issues, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality technical services.

This role requires strong technical expertise in networking and IT systems, excellent problem-solving abilities, outstanding customer service skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and assistance to customers regarding internet and network services.
• Install, configure, and maintain internet connectivity for residential and business customers.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve network, hardware, and software issues.
• Respond promptly to customer complaints and technical incidents, ensuring timely resolution.
• Configure and maintain routers, switches, wireless access points, and other networking equipment.
• Monitor network performance and identify potential issues before they impact customers.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections of network infrastructure.
• Document technical issues, service requests, and solutions accurately.
• Collaborate with the Network Operations Center (NOC) and other technical teams to resolve complex problems.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, technical standards, and safety procedures.
• Provide on-site technical support and maintenance when required.
• Participate in network upgrades, expansions, and infrastructure improvement projects.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in networking, ISP operations, or technical support (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, Wireless Networks, Routing, and Switching.
• Experience with MikroTik, Cisco, Ubiquiti, or similar networking equipment.
• Familiarity with fiber optic and wireless internet technologies is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems is desirable.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites when necessary.

Job Requirement

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Network Engineering, or a related field from a recognized university.
• Demonstrated technical expertise in the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of internet services and network infrastructure.
• Holder of a MikroTik Certified Network Associate (MTCNA) certification or possessing equivalent practical skills.
• Solid understanding of CompTIA Network+ concepts and networking fundamentals.
• Knowledge of Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) technologies is considered a strong advantage.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, routing, switching, wireless networking, and network security principles.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Outstanding customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel to customer locations and provide on-site technical support when required.
