Job Descriptions:
  • Support the factory's production processes by ensuring the reliability, stability, and efficient operation of the Information Technology (IT) infrastructure. Monitor, identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner to ensure uninterrupted operations and provide effective IT support across all factory departments.
  • Ensure the security of the organization's information systems, databases, and critical information assets by designing, implementing, and continuously monitoring effective security controls. Safeguard the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of organizational data in accordance with established cybersecurity standards, industry best practices, and the organization's information security policies.
  • Lead digital transformation initiatives by leveraging Information Technology (IT) solutions to automate and optimize administrative and operational processes, improve organizational efficiency and productivity, streamline workflows, and support data-driven decision-making across the organization.
  • Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive Information Technology (IT) policies, standards, and operating procedures to ensure the effective governance, monitoring, security, and optimal utilization of IT resources across all functional areas of the factory, while supporting operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, design, implement, and manage the organization's Information Technology (IT) infrastructure, including enterprise networks, servers, telecommunications systems, and related technologies, to ensure high availability, reliability, scalability, security, and optimal performance in support of organizational operations and strategic objectives.
  • Ensure the continuous availability, stability, and security of enterprise networks, servers, databases, cloud environments, and cybersecurity infrastructure by implementing proactive monitoring, preventive maintenance, regular data backup and recovery procedures, and comprehensive information security controls to safeguard organizational data and ensure business continuity.
  • Oversee the management of on-premises data centers and cloud services, continuously monitor the performance, availability, and reliability of IT systems, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, system resilience, scalability, and long-term sustainability.
  • Develop, manage, and monitor the Information Technology (IT) budget while conducting strategic forecasting and planning for future technical, operational, and infrastructure requirements to ensure the cost-effective allocation of resources and alignment with the organization's long-term business objectives.
  • Manage and strengthen the security of information systems and databases by designing, implementing, and continuously monitoring robust security controls that protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of organizational information assets, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously enhance cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures in alignment with internationally recognized frameworks, including ISO/IEC 27001, the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and other relevant best practices; administer identity and access management (IAM) controls through the effective assignment and monitoring of user access privileges; and ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive organizational information through the implementation of comprehensive security governance, risk management, and data protection measures.
  • Conduct comprehensive cybersecurity risk assessments and implement effective risk management strategies; develop and execute incident prevention, detection, response, and recovery plans to address cybersecurity threats and security incidents; and design and deliver ongoing cybersecurity awareness and training programs to promote security best practices and strengthen the organization's overall security culture among Information Technology (IT) users and employees.
  • Lead the digital transformation of organizational and administrative processes by designing and implementing modern digital technologies and enterprise information systems that automate business operations, optimize information and data management, improve workflow efficiency, and enhance the quality, accessibility, and effectiveness of organizational service delivery.
  • Coordinate and collaborate closely with production, administrative, and executive departments to ensure the effective utilization of Information Technology (IT) solutions, support business process optimization, and drive continuous improvement of core operational workflows across the organization.
  • Establish and maintain effective professional working relationships across organizational units and ensure the timely, accurate, and structured reporting of Information Technology (IT) activities, system performance, and technological developments to relevant stakeholders, supporting informed decision-making and organizational transparency.
  • Provide regular, structured, and timely reports to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) regarding Information Technology (IT) activities, system performance, and strategic initiatives, while ensuring continuous coordination and effective collaboration with all relevant organizational units to support operational alignment, efficiency, and informed executive decision-making.
  • Liaise and coordinate with Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and oversee the design, negotiation, execution, and management of service-level agreements (SLAs) and contractual arrangements to ensure optimal service performance, quality assurance, reliability, and continuity of internet and communication services in alignment with organizational requirements.
Job Requirements:

Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or closely related disciplines is required. Candidates possessing a Master’s degree in relevant fields will be considered an asset and given priority during the selection and recruitment process.

Professional Experience: A minimum of 5–10 years of progressive professional experience in the Information Technology (IT) sector, with demonstrated capacity in leading and managing technical teams, as well as a proven track record of planning, executing, and overseeing large-scale IT projects within reputable public, private, or non-governmental organizations, including both profit and non-profit sectors.

Comprehensive expertise in Information Technology (IT) hardware and software systems, with demonstrated ability to effectively operate, configure, manage, and support related technologies and enterprise systems to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.

Languages: Full professional proficiency in Pashto, Dari, and English, including strong written and verbal communication skills in all three languages to support effective organizational communication and reporting.
