Ø Within four weeks of joining, she shall develop an action plan for implementation in accordance with rules and regulations for better quality services delivery and also a work plan in agreement with her supervisor.
Ø Ensure update HMIS software is functional and used properly at the field office.
Ø To record, compile, analyze and interpret health data and information
Ø To provide up dated HMIS forms for the hospital
Ø In co-operation with the hospital’s medical direct/ director oversee the planning and conducting training, which relates to HMIS
Ø To supervise hospitals’ HMIS activities and give proper feedback to related staff
Ø Training of all hospital staff regarding filling HMIS forms and HMIS case definitions
Ø Ensure and maintain the flow of information to main office and related departments.
Ø Ensure proper utilization of HMIS tools.
Ø Attend Co-ordination meetings when needed in the main office/MoPH.
Ø Provide accurate and updated feedback on data collections to the related departments/ staff
Ø Provide HMIS monthly, quarterly & annual reports
Ø Provide guidance and support to the project staff in HMIS related tasks
Ø Enhance ability of project staff in HMIS related tasks, and on data quality standards and best practices by conducting workshops, on-the-job training and through other means.
Ø Support staff capacity building initiatives related to medical record documentation, data collection, and HMIS utilization.
Ø Assist the hospital team and project manager in development of the program activity /progress reports
Ø Other tasks requested by supervisors
Ø Respect all rules and regulations of the AFGA and adhere safeguarding policy
Ø She will report to hospital director and HMIS/M&E department and project coordinator
