- Graduated from recognized university as a Medical Doctor, preference will be given to the candidates
with Master of Public Health (MPH) or post graduated degree in Nutrition.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in managing work experience in nutrition or in public health management with well reputed non-government organization, UN Agencies or other development organizations
- The position requires regular field visits and providing support to project activities & health facilities.
- Strong understanding of Afghanistan public nutrition policies and global best practices.
- Experience with community-based nutrition approaches and health system strengthening.
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills in English; fluency in Dari and/or Pashto.
- Proven skills in using online and offline databases
- Ability to work on Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Ability to create a supportive working relationship with all project teams
- Ability to work under pressure, flexible and able to multi-task
