Position Summary
The Sales Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing the company’s sales operations to achieve sales targets, expand market share, and ensure sustainable business growth, with a strong focus on distribution efficiency and financial discipline.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Lead, supervise, and motivate the sales team to achieve assigned targets.
- Set individual and team sales targets and continuously monitor performance against KPIs.
- Identify new business opportunities, expand market coverage, and analyze market trends.
- Conduct regular field visits to provinces, key markets, clients, and sub-distributors to ensure business growth and strengthen distribution channels.
- Build, maintain, and enhance strong long-term relationships with clients, distributors, and key stakeholders.
- Oversee sales operations in assigned territories, ensuring product availability, visibility, and effective market penetration.
- Monitor product movement and ensure optimal stock levels at distributor and sub-distributor levels.
- Supervise and manage cash collection activities, ensuring timely recovery of outstanding payments in accordance with company credit policies.
- Follow up on customer payments and enforce strict compliance with agreed credit terms and financial agreements.
- Prepare, review, and submit accurate sales and financial reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Maintain and manage all records of sales transactions, cash collections, and outstanding receivables, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and accountability.
- Handle customer complaints and ensure timely resolution to maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the marketing department to enhance sales performance and execute promotional activities.
- Ensure full compliance with company policies during field operations, sales transactions, and financial handling.
- Demonstrate proven experience and in-depth knowledge of cosmetics and related products to effectively support sales activities, guide the sales team, and professionally address client inquiries.
- Apply strong understanding of distribution systems to optimize product flow, ensure efficient market coverage, and strengthen distributor and sub-distributor networks.
- Provide structured product training and continuous guidance to the sales team and partners to improve product positioning and sales performance.
