About BARAN:

Bu Ali Rehabilitation and Aid Network (BARAN) is a nongovernmental, non-political and independent organization. BARAN has been established in 27.7.2006 registered with the Ministry of Economy (MoEc), Ministry of Public Health (MoPH), Ministry of Education (MoE) , Ministry of labour, Social Affairs, Martyrs and Disabled (MoLSAMD), Ministry of Justice (MoJ) in order to deliver standard health care, social and educational services including conducting researches. Special attention is given for the community development by promoting capacity building programs.

Job Descriptions:

    •     Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations for obstetrics, gynecology, pediatrics, and general medical cases.
    •    Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring proper calibration and safety standards.
    •    Analyze imaging results and provide preliminary reports to physicians.
    •    Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare staff to support patient diagnosis and treatment plans.
    •    Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and imaging documentation.
    •    Follow hospital protocols for patient safety, infection control, and radiation protection (if applicable).
    •    Participate in clinical meetings and case discussions as needed.
    •    Be available on-call to cover emergency imaging requests and sudden staff absences

Job Requirements:


    •    Diploma or degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography / Radiology from a recognized institution.
    •    Valid license/certification to perform diagnostic ultrasound in the country.
    •    Minimum 2 years of practical experience in performing ultrasound examinations.
    •    Proficient in operating different ultrasound machines and imaging techniques.
    •    Ability to interpret images accurately and assist in diagnosis.
    •    Excellent patient communication and professional demeanor.
