• Support the design and implementation of anticipatory action plans informed by hazard forecasts and community risk analysis.
• Ensure early actions are gender-sensitive and inclusive of women and vulnerable populations.
• Integrate climate resilience and preparedness into community-level programming.
Risk Analysis & Early Warning System
• Monitor early warning information, hazard trends, and climate forecasts.
• Support development of triggers and activation protocols for anticipatory action.
• Contribute to community risk mapping with a gender perspective.
Community Engagement & Inclusion
• Facilitate meaningful participation of women and girls in preparedness and decision-making processes.
• Strengthen community awareness on anticipatory action and disaster readiness.
• Promote safe and inclusive access to early action resources.
Monitoring, Learning, and Reporting
• Work with MEAL teams to ensure real-time data collection, risk monitoring, and feedback from communities.
• Track implementation progress and document lessons learned.
• Contribute to donor reports and evidence generation with gender-disaggregated data.
Capacity Building and Representation
• Train and mentor field staff, community-based workers, and partners on anticipatory action, child protection in emergencies, and multi-risk preparedness.
• Promote integration of child safeguarding and child protection minimum standards throughout implementation.
• Deliver training and mentoring to staff and community volunteers, especially women leaders.
• Strengthen local capacity for gender-responsive early action.
• Ensure adherence to safeguarding, protection, and gender equity standards.
