Job Summary:
The Factory Operations / Production Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all operational and production activities. This role is critical to achieving production targets, maintaining quality standards, optimizing resources, and managing the factory team effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Production and Operations Management:
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily factory operations and production schedules.
- Ensure production targets are met in terms of quantity, quality, and deadlines.
- Monitor machine performance, maintenance schedules, and reduce downtime.
- Control production costs, optimize material usage, and minimize waste.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards (ISO, GMP, HACCP where applicable).
- Implement and enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.
Staff and Team Management:
- Manage factory personnel, including supervisors, technicians, and workers.
- Train staff and develop operational procedures and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Lead and motivate the team to improve efficiency and productivity.
Coordination and Reporting:
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and warehouse departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Prepare production reports and performance analyses for senior management.
- Participate in strategic planning to support factory growth and operational improvements.
Continuous Improvement and Development:
- Lead initiatives for process and equipment optimization to increase efficiency.
- Identify opportunities for operational improvements and risk reduction.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Perform any other related duties as assigned by the Factory Director to support smooth operations and overall growth.
