Kunduz Rehabilitation Agency (KRA) is an NGO that was established in Kunduz city of In Afghanistan in 1995. KRA emerged from Afghanaid
International UK NGO and was named after the city of Kunduz, where it was established. The reason for Afghanaid to establish KRA was due
to the constant internal conflicts and warlord fights that made it impossible for Afghanaid to continue its operations in the region. Therefore,
Afghanaid decided to hand over its ongoing projects to KRA for the betterment of the community in all over Afghanistan. Since its inception,
KRA has been committed to uplifting the downtrodden, disadvantaged, and vulnerable groups of people in Afghanistan. KRA firmly believes
that development is not limited to a single dimension but encompasses physical, social, and economic dimensions. To achieve its goals, KRA
has been implementing an integrated model of development with a holistic approach, targeting various groups for the development of poor,
vulnerable, handicapped, and disadvantaged men, women, and children.
