A well-established audit and advisory practice based in Afghanistan is seeking a fully qualified ACCA member to join the firm in a senior leadership / Director-level capacity.

This role is ideal for an ACCA-qualified professional seeking to take on a Director role within an existing, operational audit practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the firm’s qualified ACCA member for regulatory, licensing and professional compliance purposes

• Provide leadership and professional oversight of:

  • Statutory audits

  • Donor-funded and NGO audits

  • Financial reporting and assurance engagements

• Ensure compliance with applicable:

  • International Standards on Auditing (ISA)

  • IFRS / IFRS for SMEs

• Review and where required sign off audit and assurance reports

• Support practice development, quality control and staff mentoring

Eligibility Requirements

• Full ACCA membership (essential)

• Ability to meet Afghan legal and regulatory requirements for audit practice ownership or certification

• Strong technical knowledge of:

  • International Standards on Auditing (ISA)

  • IFRS / IFRS for SMEs

• Prior audit and assurance experience

  • NGO, donor-funded, or commercial audits preferred

• High professional ethics and a strong commitment to quality
