Job Descriptions:

The central role of the position holder is to regular monitoring of the WCC provincial activities. He/she will support project staff in data collection of provincial level and provide data on time to WCC PQAL Unit Kabul office.  This will include thorough reporting of regular field monitoring visits to the project sites and provide information and distribute the CFRM poster within the community level and conduct the PDM. 

Job Requirements:

Monitoring Evaluation Accountability and Learning

Routine Monitoring, Assessments and Reporting

  • Support in conducting baseline studies mainly on methodologies, tools, and sampling strategies at a provincial level.
  • Provide technical support in developing monitoring tools or data collection tools.
  • Provide technical support to develop monitoring tools, Kobo forms and datasets.
  • Conduct field monitoring visits from the project sites on a regular basis.
  • Provide weekly reports to the Line Manager, highlighting achievements, challenges, and proposed solutions.
  • Collect qualitative and quantitative data as per the developed dataset through digital platforms.

Accountability and Program Quality

  • Ensure that WCC staff at Country and provincial levels have a clear understanding on program accountability to children and communities through training, mentoring, and coaching.
  • Ensure that an effective feedback mechanism is in place and functioning at the program implementation levels.
  • Ensure that periodic MEAL/PQAL reports are shared and debriefed at different levels; action plans for addressing the quality gaps or any shortfalls are developed and followed up.
  • Share the experiences on MEAL/PQAL to WCC and bring new experiences and innovative ideas for improving the accountability system in country office program.
  • Make sure to lead on conducting baseline studies, mid-line, end-line, PDMs and on-going monitoring.

Other Responsibilities

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Line Manager that align with the project scope, ensuring flexibility to meet the evolving needs of the community and project.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, social science, or relevant fields.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience with INGOs/NGOs in monitoring, evaluation accountability and learning.
  • Proficiency in data analysis through SPSS and creating dashboards using Power Bi.
    Experience:
  • Have relative experience working with reporting and data collection tools such as Kobo, Survey Monkey, Google forms etc. 

Skills and Abilities:

  • Good Communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good knowledge of community development especially working with children, women, youths, adolescents etc
  • Experience working with different communities with different cultures
  • Culture sensitive, respect for local norms and keep confidentiality
  • Excellent computer, MS office skills
  • Flexibility and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
