Job Summary

Samstar LLC is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Procurement & Operations Specialist with an IT background to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in procurement and operations management, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. This role requires an individual who can handle complex procurement processes, manage logistics, and optimize operations to improve efficiency and reduce costs. The successful candidate will also contribute to operational strategy, identify opportunities for process improvement, and support our global projects with precision and expertise.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Handle the complete procurement lifecycle from sourcing to purchasing
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and lead times with vendors and suppliers
  • Request and collect quotations from vendors via phone and email
  • Place purchase orders and track deliveries
  • Prepare and manage invoices, documentation, and compliance paperwork
  • Resolve issues with vendors, logistics, or product availability
  • Ensure timely procurement based on project deadlines
  • Perform multitasking and versatile duties to support operations as needed
  • Communicate directly with the management team regarding procurement status
  • Maintain organized records of purchases, contracts, and supplier communications
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, IT, or a related field
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in procurement, logistics, or operations
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Excellent negotiation and vendor management capabilities
  • Highly organized, analytical, and able to manage multiple tasks
  • Self-driven, proactive, and able to work independently in a remote setting
  • Reliable computer/laptop and high-speed internet connection
