Job Descriptions:
  1. Business development managers are primarily responsible for driving business growth, and duties vary on a day-to-day basis. Typical responsibilities include:
  2. Creating development plans, forecasting sales targets, growth projections and seek ways of improving the way the business operates.
  3. Identifying market opportunities through meetings, networking and other channels.
  4. Liaising with colleagues to develop sales and marketing strategies.
  5. Developing a business development strategy focused on financial gain and preparing financial projections and sales targets.
  6. Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets.
  7. Work strategically - carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational changes.
  8. Supports the coordination of all aspects of the development process both internal and external, including prospecting/qualification, pitching, due diligence, contract negotiations.
  9. Complies with national, regional, and local laws in the markets we operate.
  10. Establishes and maintains complete and up-to-date information to ensure accurate reporting.
  11. Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives and researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
  12. Conduct high-level industry research to develop effective sales solutions.
  13. Promote the company’s services to prospective clients and provide continuous, constructive feedback to Market.
  14. Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate with stakeholders.
  15. Create and implement processes and policies to support the overall business.
  16. Review sales contracts to ensure they meet legal and corporate guidelines.
Job Requirements:
      • Due to a promotion in our team, we are hiring another business development manager to take over a mix of existing accounts and new sales territory. To excel in this role you should be an active listener, have a compelling sales personality, and a hunger to chase and close new business.
      • Minimum bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, BSc/BA or related field.
      • Minimum 3-years' experience as Business Development Manager in Hospitality Industry, partnership development, UN/Donor organizations or other relevant business experience, demonstrating a pattern of exceptional performance.
      • Business Development Manager will help grow the Hotel Division by identifying, vetting and performing due diligence and partnership-negotiate with Hotel Operator.
      • Written and verbal communication skills - needed for communicating with a range of people, both internally and externally, as well as presentation skills.
      • Have ability to multitask, priorities your workload, motivate yourself, set your own goals, analyses sales figures and write reports.
      • Understanding of revenue management and distribution channels and comfortable using a computer for various tasks
      • Proficient in MS Office, IDS, CRM software, Outlook or related field.
      • Business Developer candidates should have prior experience with business-to-business sales and a demonstrated ability to achieve sales goals.
      • Experience in project management, supply-chain management and logistics also indicates a quality Business Developer candidate.
      • Business Developers with leadership skills from previous management jobs are also valuable.
