Under the overall supervision of the National Programme Officer and the direct supervision of the Senior/Programme Associate (Migration Health), and administrative supervision of the relevant Heads of Sub Office, the incumbent will assist in ensuring that basic medical screening is carried out, particularly in the areas of reproductive, maternal, and child health care. Critical medical cases will be referred to as additional services through partners, the government, and private hospital partners. Critical medical cases will be referred to partner agencies and contracted private hospitals for additional services. He/she will work at fixed health facilities, points of entry, or as a mobile health team when necessary.
The Medical Doctor is expected to carry out Her/his duties in accordance with the strictest ethical standards, building and maintaining partnerships with the Government, international organizations, and non-governmental agencies, and with due respect for gender and socio-cultural sensitivities. Deployment areas may include IDP settlements in rural or remote areas within the project scope.
