About Organization for Community Empowerment and Development (OCED):

Organization for Community Empowerment and Development (OCED) was established in 2017 as an Afghan non-governmental, non-profit, non-political, and developmental organization. The organization is registered in the Ministry of Economy with the registration number of 4249.

The main purpose of OCED is to provide more opportunities for Afghans to use their full potential for increasing quality health and social services, professional capacity building, and promoting equal access to communities to developmental and humanitarian services. OCED also responds to the needs of the Afghans by the principles and fundamentals of civil society organizations. OCED works in partnership with humanitarian agencies, UN organizations, development and implementing partners in the following six areas: Health, Nutrition, Education, Agriculture and Livestock, Emergency Response and Social service.

Job Descriptions:

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Supervise the implementation of RMNCAH Intervention and activities.
  • Ensure compliance with national and international RMNCAH guidelines standard.
  • Conduct regular site visits to assess program quality and impact.
  • Provide training and mentor-ship to RMNCAH staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Oversee the collection of RMNCAH data and indicators.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for program improvement.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure the delivery of high quality RMNCAH service.
  • Collaborate with the project team to address any quality concerns.
  • Prepare regular reports on RMNCAH program performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of program activities and outcome.
  • Provides the staff up to date RMNCAH related information, guidelines, procedures manual, database and forms.
  • Assist the RMNCAH officer in providing timely, specific and relevant feedback to the staff on the data and information provided.
  • Any other task assigned by his/her supervisor.
Job Requirements:
  • University graduate of Medical Faculty or Midwifery.
  • At least 3 years working experience in related field.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power point).
  • Ability to travel and live at health facilities within the province.
  • Proficiency in local languages and knowledge of English language (preferred)
  • Must be capable of working both individually and as part of a team to undertake tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • good problem-solving skills
  • Strong interest in the development of health status in the community.

 

  • Note: - There is three months of probationary period for all staff, In case the employee fails to fulfill the requirements or completion of given tasks during this period OCED can end his/her contract immediately.
