Job-Purpose
This is a full-time, grant-funded position with regular travels to targeted districts in Badghis Province. The main responsibility of this position is to support the implementation of WV-US funded project Agriculture, Livestock, Cash) project at community level as well as to assist in planning, organizing, implementing and monitoring of the project in the targeting areas. He/she is mainly responsible to deliver the project activities in to the field level as such as identifying priority needs, sensitize and mobilize the communities, establishing relationships with community leaders and local government authorities, ensure the proper selection of project beneficiaries, Provide Agriculture trainings, delivery of cash assistance and Agriculture inputs, conduct registration of complaints, ensure proper documentation and conduct follow-ups with beneficiaries.
Community engagement & Beneficiary Training
- Assist in sensitization/ Mobilization of local government structures, communities and traditional authorities on the targeting criteria and identification and registration of the beneficiaries for the delivery of WV-US, Agriculture and Cash project activities
- Organize the inception and community sensitization meetings and trainings with project stakeholders, community members at district and village level
- Conducting awareness raising and messaging for affected beneficiaries on the program for inclusion of the vulnerable BNFs
- Participate in weekly/monthly zonal meetings
- Raise awareness on the use of community feedback mechanisms.

Timely delivery of the assistance
· Developing monthly detailed program activity implementation plans for the interventions
· Conduct the registration of targeting families, ensuring that the data is collected and is recorded appropriately
· Conducting awareness raising and messaging for affected beneficiaries on the program
· Work together with the officers on the development of distribution plans
· Help oversee delivery of cash assistance and helping ensure the resolution of any problems
Data Collection and Reporting
- Contribute in conducting of FGDs, door to door surveys and survey for the baseline and end line and other survey.
- Responsible for all required technical aspects on the ground on projects and ensure that implemented as required
- Collect harvest date throughout the appropriate data collection tools
- Collect any feedback received during the communities meeting and field visits and report to line manger timely
- Provide monthly and weekly plans and reports
- Develop success stories of the project’s interventions
- Documentation of best practices for learning purposes and increase program visibility
- Ensure full compliance with WVI’s Accountability Frameworks, Safeguarding Policies, Code of Conduct, and donor requirements by actively participating in AAP mandatory trainings and integrating accountability mechanisms into all project activities.
- Conduct meaningful AAP community engagement and sensitization during field visits, including distribution of CFM cards to beneficiaries and facilitating awareness sessions on the feedback and complaints mechanism throughout project implementation.
