Apex AMANAT Microfinance Services (AAMS), an impact-driven investment arm of the Rupani Development Initiative (RDI), is launching a new Microfinance Institution (MFI) in Afghanistan.

Job Descriptions:

Rupani Development Initiative (RDI) is looking for experienced professionals for its upcoming Microfinance Institution (MFI) in Afghanistan. The positions aim to build a strong management team to ensure effective operations, financial sustainability, and impactful service delivery.

General Responsibilities:
The Operations Manager will oversee all lending operations, client services, and branch performance to ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance with institutional policies. This role will play a key part in developing operational strategies and maintaining portfolio health.

Responsibilities:

Supervise daily operations of lending, client services, and branch performance to ensure efficient delivery of financial products.
Implement operational policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) that promote efficiency and compliance across all branches.
Ensure client satisfaction and portfolio quality through continuous monitoring of loan performance, recovery rates, and service delivery.
Oversee implementation of Islamic banking products, ensuring compliance with Sharia principles and client needs.
Manage and support branch managers and field staff in achieving operational targets and expanding outreach.
Conduct performance evaluations and recommend improvements in operational systems and internal processes.
Collaborate with senior management on strategic planning, product innovation, and expansion of microfinance services.

Job Requirements:

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, or related field.
Minimum 5–7 years of experience in operations management in microfinance or banking.
Experience in Islamic finance operations preferred.
Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.
Fluency in English, Dari and Pashto languages.
