HaftSin Chain of Supermarkets, an Afghan-owned supermarket chain, was recently established with the goal of providing high-quality services, facilitating daily shopping, and meeting the essential needs of families. The supermarkets have started operating in various areas of Kabul and are rapidly expanding.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to oversee financial records, monitor daily transactions, and provide accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting the financial health of our supermarkets, ensuring transparency, preventing discrepancies, and helping our stores operate efficiently and profitably.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintain accurate financial records for all supermarket branches.
2. Prepare and manage accounts payable and receivable.
3. Track daily sales, expenses, and cash flow.
4. Reconcile accurate bookkeeping.
5. Prepare financial reports for management review.
6. Assist in budgeting and financial planning as needed.
7. Conduct/assist in periodic inventory checks of supermarkets to ensure all products are accurately in place.

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. At least 3 years of work experience, preferably in supermarket operations, retail management, or a related field.
3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
4. Proficiency with accounting software and MS Office.
5. Attention to detail, honesty, and reliability.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
