The Role:

This is a critical leadership role for a hands-on expert. You will be directly responsible for finding new project opportunities and leading our engineering team to successfully deliver them. This is not a desk-only job; it requires a practical leader who can develop a cost estimate, manage a project, and mentor staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Business Development:  Actively search for, evaluate, and pursue new tender opportunities on international platforms, especially the *UN Global Marketplace (UNGM)*.
• Manage Proposals & Estimation: Personally prepare high-quality technical proposals and accurate, detailed cost estimates for construction projects to secure new contracts.
• Provide Project Leadership: Oversee project planning and execution to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.
• Mentor & Manage Team: Lead, manage, and develop our team of engineers and project staff, providing technical guidance and fostering a collaborative environment.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction engineering, with a significant portion in a leadership role.
• Proven, hands-on experience in winning contracts and preparing bids is essential.
• Must have specific and demonstrable experience using the UNGM portal for tender submissions.
• Strong expertise in cost estimation and project management for building and/or water infrastructure projects.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, small-company environment.
